° 46-51 Hershey Kisses, Un-wrapped
° 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
° 1 teaspoon baking soda
° 1/2 teaspoon of salt
° 1/2 cup softened butter
° 3/4 c smooth peanut butter
° 1/3 c sugar
Preheat oven 375 degrees. Unbox Hershey’s kisses.
Combine all ingredients except Hershey’s Kisses and additional rolling sugar in the large bowl of a stand mixer. Mix well until homogeneous.
Scoop out small, tablespoon-sized amounts of the dough and roll them into balls between your palms, then roll each ball in the extra sugar in a shallow bowl. Place on a baking sheet spaced an inch or two apart, then bake for 8-10 minutes. Don’t overcook them – I almost always remove them at 8-9 minutes.
Immediately after removing the cookies from the oven, gently press an unwrapped Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie. It will melt from the heat of the cookie and eventually harden again when the cookies cool completely.
