° 1 package (18 ounces) fudge brownie mix (such as Duncan Hines®)
°½ cup vegetable oil
° 2 eggs
° cup of water
° ½ c brown sugar
° ⅓ c light corn syrup
° 2 eggs
° 1 t of bourbon
° 2 t vanilla extract
° ½ tsp salt
° ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
° 2 cups pecan halves
*Step by step:
Preheat oven 350 degrees F Line a 9-inch deep springform pan with foil and coat generously with cooking spray.
Whisk brownie mix, oil, 2 eggs and water in a bowl until well blended. Spreading batter to prepare pan.
Baking in preheated oven to toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, for 30 minutes. Removing from oven also leave oven on.
Whisk brown sugar, corn syrup, 2 eggs, bourbon, vanilla extract and salt in a bowl. Slowly add melted butter, whisking until well blended. Add the pecans and toss to coat the filling. Gently pour over brownie layer; spread evenly with a spatula.
Bake in hot oven until center is set, 30 to 35 minutes. Cool to room temperature, at least 2 h.
