Personally my all-time favorite desserts are the ones my mom used to make when I was a kid, things like apple tarte, pavlova, eves pudding… and of course Right Pudding. She uses to make it on winters nights when it was really dark and cool outside, miss those days!
Anyway, today I’m going to show you how you can make this quite humble dessert right now in no time, it’s super easy and really satisfying!

Two and ¾ cups of Milk

2/3 cup of Minute white rice

1/3 cup of sugar

One tablespoon of butter

Half teaspoon of vanilla extract

Half teaspoon of salt

Half cup of raisins

Quarter teaspoon of nutmeg

Quarter teaspoon of Cinnamon

Step 1:

In 1-quart buttered casserole dish, combine all the ingredients except cinnamon.

Step 2:

Preheat the oven over 350 degrees, let it bake for 1 hour until it’s thick and creamy. Every few minutes if you want to, just give it a stir, so it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan.

Step 3:

Serve the pudding warm, sprinkled with ground cinnamon and nutmeg and enjoy the dessert equivalent of a wonderful truly homemade comfort food!
