Crockpot Chicken and Gravy Recipe

 

I love those recipes that we all grew up with, they are just too good to miss out on.Crockpot Chicken & Gravy – only 3 ingredients!! Such a great weeknight meal! Just dump everything in the slow cooker and let it work its magic! Serve over hot steamed rice with some green beans. SO easy and kid-friendly too!

I am a huge fan of crockpot meals, especially this time of year. I don’t know about you, but I am really busy during the holiday season. The last thing I want to worry about is dinner. This recipe is super easy and tastes great. Chicken slow-cooked in chicken gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Serve the shredded chicken over rice and dinner is done. I used Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice, and dinner was ready in less than 5 minutes after walking in the door! Can’t beat that any time of year!My whole family loves this recipe so much. If it were for them, I’d be making this every day! Give it a shot, you’ll love it!To Make this Recipe You’ Will Need the following ingredients:

Ingredients :

2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
14 ½ oz can can chicken broth
2 packets of chicken sauce mix

 

Directions :

Step1: Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Pour in chicken broth, cover and cook over high heat for about 3 to 4 hours or until chicken flakes easily.
Step2: Pour 2 cups of broth/chicken juice from the slow cooker into a saucepan. Discard any remaining liquid. Add the two bags of sauce to the pan and whisk well. Simmer over low heat until sauce thickens.
Step3: While the sauce is simmering, remove the chicken breasts from the pressure cooker and reduce them to larger pieces. That’s it! Serve with the sauce on top of the chicken. Yummy!Itinerary :
